The black metal chassis and the opaque Omen 15 cover look stylish and elegant, while the logo and the red logo feature enough to impress. The HP Omen 15 is similar to the War Zone, where the bright Omen logo comes comfortably from the battle as polished aluminum and carbon fiber collide to form a crimson cross. The Omen 15 has two small hinges, making the thin screen look like floating. You can combine this with black and white keys supported by four-zone RGB lighting The only disadvantage of the Omen 15 is that it is made of thick plastic. The machine weighs 5.4 lbs, measuring 14.2 x 10.4 x 1.0 inches. All its competitors, Alienware m15 (4.8 lbs, 0.7 inches), Asus ROG Zephyrus S (4.6 lb, 0.6 inches) and MSI GS65 Stealth Thin (4.1 lb, 0.7 inches) all have a thinner, lighter aluminum structure.
There are a variety of ports on the Omen 15 for all your gaming needs. On the left, there is a USB 3.0 port, an SD card slot and a separate headphone and microphone connector. The back panel features an RJ45 Ethernet port, a USB 3.0 port with permanent charging, an HDMI 2.0 port, a Mini DisplayPort, a Thunderbolt 3 port and a security lock slot, while the right side holds the power socket and USB 3.0 port.
Omen 15 15.6-inch, 1080p, but offering good, smooth colors with a refresh rate of 144 Hz. According to the color scale, the Omen screen was overshadowed by the 111-degree sRGB chromatography, representing just one point higher than the average of the regular laptop. The Zephyrus S was only a few points higher (113 percent), but the Alienware m15 and Stealth Thin both raised the spectrum by about 150 percent. Nvidia’s G-Sync technology is also here, which synchronizes screen refresh rate with game frame rates to prevent screen or video disruption. This is a really useful feature, and it is very rare to find it in a laptop at this price.
The geekbench results show how quickly this laptop compares to competition. The Dell G5 15 with similar prices can not achieve half the speed of the multi-core result achieved by Omen 15, which reached 18.134. Even the Razer Blade 15 is being overcome as fast as the 17,892 Geekbench multi-core. The HP Omen 15 also has amazing read and write speeds of 3140.7 MB / s and 1386.5 MB / s
The HP Omen 15 is no different from the normal gaming laptop when it comes to battery life, providing 4 hours for Internet browsing and video playback. The Powermark battery test also revealed that the HP Omen 15 can only run two hours of play nonstop – this was with chroma lighting turned off
